Hasbro have announced a number of new Star Wars Black Series releases for 2021 during their first live fan event of 2021.
In a similar vein to the 40th Anniversary figures, and to celebrate the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary, we will get a number of carded figures from the Sequels on Phantom Menace card backs. Mace Windu and the Battle Droid will be straight up repacks. The new Jar Jar Binks Deluxe figures gets an immediate repack on the the Vintage card, but with stripped back accessories to his spear only. And then the one that will please fans is a repack of Qui-Gon Jinn, but with a retool of the head and applied face print technology update.
These are Spring 2021 releases, and the figures are up for pre-order as of 6pm on the 29th January including at our site affiliate Zavvi.com
