When Galaxy's Edge launches at the two US Disney Parks in May (Anaheim) and August (Orlando), they will carry three different Star Wars Black Series Exclusive 6 inch figure sets.
The Smugglers Run
The Smugglers Set will include three 6 inch figures, starting with a re-release of the Jedi Training Rey figure from 2017 who will get an update with the face print technology. She is joined by Chewbacca who looks to be the same as his previous releases. To keep Chewie fed we have two new scaled Porg figures, these are new sculpts and not repacks from the Porg 2-pack.
The set is rounded out by the fan favourite Hondo Ohnaka. Hondo, the Weequay Pirate, was first seen in Star Wars The Clone Wars and then moved into Rebels. Hondo will be a part of the Galaxy's Edge story and this sculpt of Hondo reflects his appearance in the parks.
The set will be sold in exclusive packaging at Galaxy's Edge, even forgoing the Hasbro and Disney logo's to give, in Hasbro's words "an immersive experience".
As yet we have no word on any availability outside of the US so these sets maybe amongst the toughest for UK collectors to obtain.
