Star Wars Black Series, Episode 9 Rise of Skywalker C-3PO (spoilers!)

We saw the new Episode 9 C-3PO figure revealed in the Global Product Launch stream and we now have a set of promo images for the figure.



C-3PO comes with the new character Babu Frik. Frik is a droid programmer of sorts and despite his size looks to have articulation including a flip down mask. C-3PO includes an exposed rear head section where Frik is obviously doing his work. Our favourite protocol droid also comes with Chewie's bandoleer and bowcaster - which is obviously a plot point from Episode 7.


The figure will also feature a temperature change paint in the eyes, so they turn red at a certain temperature. This is the same type of paint technology used on the recent Dryden Vos figure.


C-3PO and Babu Frik will be an exclusive release and will be exclusive to Target in the US. It should be a shared fan channel exclusive elsewhere in the world.
