Star Wars Black Series Chewbacca and C-3PO, The Empire Strikes Back

A new set of promotional images have been circulated (via Amazon Germany) for a Hasbro Star Wars Black Series 2-pack of Chewbacca and C-3PO from The Empire Strikes Back.


Chewie has a new head sculpt on the original body. While C-3PO - in a throwback to the original Kenner toy - can be disassembled and slung on Chewie's back in the supplied netting. The disassemble option is not just a pop off the arms and legs, but includes what seem to be plug in parts to show the exposed and torn wiring between the limbs. The figure is also weathered and dirty after his trip through the bowels of Cloud City.



The Amazon Germany listing is still up at the time of posting, but images have been taken down.


The figure pack was officially confirmed at the Hasbro Star Wars NYCC panel and is confirmed as arriving in late 2019 and it will be an Amazon Exclusive.
