Following the announcement of the Rogue One DVD/Bluray release in April 2017 companies and retailers across the globe have been unveiling their exclusive covers, steel-books and variant content. The most impressive of these so far is in Japan where a deluxe Blu-ray box set will also come packed with an exclusive 1/12 SH Figuarts Deathtrooper Specialist.
The Specialist Deathtrooper builds on the standard release with the additional pauldron and gear as well as extra weaponry. As it stands, this will be the only avenue for SH Figaurts collectors to obtain the figure.
The pack is retailing at 14,040 yen - that is about £100, or $125. It is unclear if the Bluray itself would work in UK or US players.
