SH Figuarts : Chewbacca (A New Hope) and Padawan Anakin (Attack of the Clones)

As is common with SH Figuart news, details of two new figures are circulating online courtesy of a scanned catalogue page out of Japan.

First off and Chewbacca will be joining the 1/12 Figuarts range. He will be based on his appearance in A New Hope and will come with Bowcaster and Ammo Belt. The image shows two different facial expressions - one closed mouth, one open mouth. I would expect this means swap-out head options - but if could be a clever articulated jaw. We will have to await final details. Chewie should hit stores in April 2017 and is a general release.

The second figure looks to be a Tamashii Webshop exclusive. This mean the Padawan Anakin Skywalker, as seen in Attack of the Clones, won't be the easiest figure to obtain outside the Far East. Anakin is arriving, based on the image, with two light sabers as per the duel with Dooku at the end of the movie. With Figuarts keen on releasing "linked" figures from pivotal scenes then could this indicate a Count Dooku is on the cards?

Both Chewie and Anakin have an RRP of 6264 Yen - that is £45 / $56 - but expect to add more for import and delivery, in fact add a lot more if you want to obtain Anakin.
