SDCC 2025: NECA Ultimate Matador Beetlejuice & Sandworm, and Ultimate Bob

NECA's SDCC 2025 reveals kicked off a few hours ahead of the preview night, with a pair of new 7 inch scale Beetlejuice figures, both taken from the 2024 sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.


Up first is a new Ultimate format figure of Beetlejuice dressed as a matador and facing down a large 12 inch tall Sandworm accessory that is designed to look like it is bursting from a church floor. Beetlejuice himself includes changeable hands and faceplates, most of which are likely to be recycled from the earlier sets. His cape is soft goods. The Sandworm does have articulation at the jaw, head, and tongue for varied posing.



The second reveal is an Ultimate release of Bob in his yellow office suit. The set includes alternative parts for the head, hands, and shirt so you can also create Shrinkers Jeff and Dave if you wish. There is also swap-out name badge to identify your Shrinkers, and a stack of Deceased paperwork for them to work through.


Ultimate Bob is listed as a Quarter 4 (October - December) 2025 release. Ultimate Matador Beetlejuice and the Sandworm will arrive in Quarter 1 (January - March) of 2026. There is no details as yet on any exclusivity, but they are live now on the NECA Store which may be a 'first to market' arrangement with supplies into NECA stockists to follow. Both figures will be added into our extensive NECA Collector Database



The Ghost with the Most is back! From Tim Burton’s 2024 sequel film, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the famous bio-exorcist returns once again to scheme Lydia into marriage so he can finally escape the Afterlife. At the wedding, his nefarious plan is foiled when Lydia's daughter, Astrid, brings a Sandworm into the land of the living to stop him. Beetlejuice quickly transforms into a matador to distract the monstrous Sandworm to swallow his ex-wife instead. NECA brings the chaos of the iconic scene to life with highly detailed Beetlejuice and Sandworm figures in 7-inch scale. Standing over 12 inches tall, the Sandworm is mounted on a church floor base and features articulated jaws, heads, and tongue for dynamic posing. Ultimate Matador Beetlejuice comes with a cloth cape and interchangeable hands and faceplates. This 2-pack comes in window box packaging perfect for display in your NECA Beetlejuice collection!



From Tim Burton’s 2024 masterpiece sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, comes Bob — Beetlejuice's number one guy! Assistant to the After Life Care Manager, Bob is a Shrinker who does whatever his boss needs, including supervising the other Shrinker team members. Dressed in his mustard yellow suit, Bob puts his mundane office job aside to help his boss escape to marry the love of his life. This 7-inch scale, fully articulated Ultimate action figure from NECA includes multiple interchangeable heads, hands, and shirt pieces for additional Shrinkers Jeff and Dave, and files on the deceased. Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap.
