SDCC 2024: Mondo Toys 1/12 scale Real Ghostbusters and Masters of the Universe

Mondo are not a property we usually follow as their scale predominantly is 1/6 rather than the mid-size focus of our news and reviews. However, they are moving into 6-inch scale figures with a new Real Ghostbusters series - and their booth at SDCC 2024 gives us our first look at what they have to offer.



On display are figures of Peter Venkman and Egon Spengler along with a number of ghosts including Silmer and Samhaim. It seems each release will feature a Ghostbuster and an associated ghost - with Venkman and Sammheim as a launch set in Autumn 2024, and Spengler and The Boogieman as an early 2025 release.


It also appears that Ghostbusters are not the only 1:12 property Mondo are working on, with a Masters of the Universe series in the works as seen in this presentation.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters.
