On the Pegs at Asda : Marvel Legends & Transformers Studio Series

I took a wander into a couple of Asda's today, and when I say wander I actually mean I went to buy new toys on the back of some reports of clearance prices being applied.

Up first is the reason I went, Marvel Legends. Most Asda stores are now dropping these from the £19.99 to £9.98. The figures will be from either the first or second wave of Avengers figures from 2018. While you will be lucky to find Cap, Thor or Iron-Spider - there seem to be a few stores with a selection including Black Widow, Ant-Man, Wasp, Songbird and Malekith.

The store I visited had Wasp and Widow - both of which I have already.

What I was surprised to find just above these were Transformer Studio Series Voyager figures at £20. I've not seen this line in any Asda before, and yet they were marked as reduced. This might mean I have missed them previously - or they are a new line and coming in at a reduced price. The only two my store had were Optimus Prime (who I only reviewed this week) and Starscream. £20 for the Voyager class is about £10 less than RRP.

In both these cases the product was security tagged which may pose an issue if you want to keep these boxed.
