The New York Toy Fair, hosted by the Toy Association, has traditionally been a February event - but in 2023 it is moving to a new date in September/October with this year's event kicking off on the 30th of September at 9am (which will be approximately 2pm UK time). There may even be some early coverage with a handful of preview events taking place on the 29th of September.
The event is aimed more at companies showcasing their upcoming product lines to retailers and stockists but should see a degree of new action figure reveals from the key players. We know that attending the event with a booth are Diamond Select Toys, McFarlane Toys, Jazwares, and NECA.
Hasbro and Playmates will also be attending, but without a booth presence and are likely showcasing products via hosted events, these may be restricted and with news not readily available. Mattel has chosen to not attend this year's event.
