New NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles items listed on Walmart

Walmart in the US have listed two new NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle items on their website.

First is a holding page for what is being described as 'Stealth Super Shredder' from the 1991 Turtle Movie Secret of the Ooze. The only image is an Ultimate Box design which is named as Shredder 'Shadow Master'.

The figure has been confirmed by NECA as a Walmart exclusive homage to the Chef Boyardee mail away figure from back in the early 90's.. This new Shredder will be a March 2021 release.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1991 Movie) – 7” Scale Action Figure – Stealth Super Shredder

The Shredder lives! After suffering defeat at the hands of the turtles, the leader of the Foot Clan plots his revenge. Desperate to vanquish his foes, Shredder consumes the last bit of mutagen to transform himself into the hulking Super Shredder. Inspired by the classic mail-away figure from 1991, Super Shredder stands over 8" tall and is painted in an all-new dark deco scheme. He comes with a brand-new fabric cape, interchangeable hands, a bishamon yari, and a TGRI canister. Comes in special metallic finish window box packaging

The second item appears to be a crate of mixed items including Beanie Hat, T-Shirt, Magnet, Keychain and, most importantly, a NECA figure of Shredder from the Cartoon Series. The set is listed as the 'Stern Pinball Appearance Crate' and is based on the Cartoon artwork used on the original Stern Pinball machine.

The US price is a reasonable $49.96, and we await more details on release timings and the exact contents.

About Me : As a child of the 70's and 80's I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force) and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licences - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
