NECA have announced that they will be releasing figures from the classic 1990s animated series. Gargoyles featured a supernatural clan of Gargoyles displaced from their Scottish home to modern Manhattan when their castle was relocated. The Gargoyles are stone statues during the day, but transform to living creatures at night time.
The line will kick off with Goliath, leader of the Gargoyles, in Ultimate format in July 2021. Goliath features two face options, alternative hands, jalapeno pepper, and a book. We can't quite see the book cover to see if this is the Grimorum Arcanorum. Goliath will stand 8 inches tall with a 16-inch wingspan.
Pre-orders are now open for Goliath with a current release date of July 2021. NECA have confirmed there are 5 figures already complete for the line, with more in the works - so we'd expect further reveals in this exciting Gargoyles line as we move further into 2021.
Update: NECA has confirmed that the line is a US-only license, so the items cannot be stocked by UK or any other global retailers - despite some already taking preorders. his will leave collectors outside the US having to source via US sies who can ship globally, paying a premium to do so in custom charges and shipping fees
