NECA have released full colour images of the packaging for their 7 inch scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figures from the classic Turtles in Time video game.
"Series 1 of our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Action Figures will come in packaging inspired by the game's classic arcade cabinet art! You can expect Leo, Donny, Foot, and Slash to ship out to retailers next month."
The figures use the videogame styling as seen on other NECA retro video game action figures with brightly coloured and pixelated paint schemes.
The first wave gives us Donatello and Leonardo. There is also a Foot Soldier and the evil turtle from Dimension X Slash - who appeared in the SNES version of Turtles in Time. Our hero Turtles and the Foot Soldier come packed with hoverboards and flight display stands. The Turtles also come with the appropriate weapons - Swords for Leonardo and Bo Staff for Donatello. The Foot Soldier has while Slash is armed with his sword.
It is worth noting that while the paint jobs are new, all the figures with the exception of Slash, have been released previously in the TMNT animated series line. Slash is likely to end up in that line too in the future with a muted paint job.
The figures are window boxed with the packaging using images from the original Arcade machine cabinet. They are due to start to ship out to stores from February 2020.
