As we reported last week, the four new 7 inch scale 1990 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures from SDCC 2019 are coming to general release. NECA confirmed the news via their social media channels and shared promotional images of the four figures.
The SDCC 2019 pack is broken down into four single releases of Shredder, Splinter and two versions of the Foot Soldier. One Foot Soldier comes with blunt weapons - nunchucks, night-stick and a staff. The other has bladed weapons of katana's and sai's.
Splinter has a pair of nunchucks, pizza slice and Ooze cylinder. He also has a soft goods outfit. The chain and manacles are not included. Shredder has a knife and spear and alternative hands including wrist blades. The crate and weapon rack are also not included in any of the sets.
The packs will be exclusive to Gamestop in the US with pre-orders opening soon. We would expect, although it is not officially confirmed, that these will be available worldwide to NECA stockists as are the original four turtles - arriving in late 2019. We also know that a 9th figure will join the line, with NECA confirming that the Raphael in trench coat disguise will get the 7 inch treatment in 2020.
