NECA Super Shredder, TMNT Secret of the Ooze 30th Anniversary

NECA have revealed some new images of their Super Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 : The Secret of the Ooze. The 30th Anniversary release is an homage to the European packaging and the box will use the European release poster for the movie as the cover artwork.

Super Shredder is a Walmart Exclusive and will be in the US stores very soon. There will be some online and international availability promised at a later date.

Our Comic Con Walmart Exclusive TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze 30th Anniversary Super Shredder "European Packaging Homage" is shipping to stores now!

(Online and International availability at a later date)

The Shredder lives! After suffering defeat at the hands of the turtles, the leader of the Foot Clan plots his revenge. Desperate to vanquish his foes, Shredder consumes the last bit of mutagen to transform himself into the hulking Super Shredder. Based on his appearance at the end of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, Shredder stands approximately 9.5" tall and comes with exclusive purple deco based on the early 90s toy, a brand new belt, a brand new fabric cape, interchangeable hands, a bishamon yari, and a mutagen canister. The packaging is a tribute to the European release poster for the movie and has an opening front panel.

About Me : As a child of the 70's and 80's I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force) and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licences - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
