It has been 6-years since we've had a movie Robocop release from NECA, but we can now look forward to two new releases in 2022 to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the original movie.
Up first is a new Ultimate Robocop figure using the original figure body, complete with the spring-loaded thigh holster mechanism. The Ultimate Robocop will come with Murphy's Auto-9 pistol, a Cobra Assault Cannon, a muzzle flash effect, and an alternative hand with data spike extended. And for the first time ever, the figure will come with an unmasked Murphy head with the likeness, and digital facial printing, of Peter Weller.
The second release is another Ultimate, but a larger Deluxe release. It features a battle-damaged Robocop and the Mechanical Chair that Robocop uses as a docking station. The set also comes with the new Peter Weller head, the Auto-9 pistol, muzzle flash, and data spike hand. It doesn't feature the spring-loaded holster.
Both figures are up for pre-order now with an April 2022 release date.
