While we are still waiting for Bruce the Shark from NECA, they have unveiled a brand new Jaws figure in the 8-inch action figure line. Matt Hooper, as seen in the Shark Tank dive sequence, will come with an articulated body wearing a tailored wetsuit. He has two head-sculpts, one with glasses and one without.
Hooper will feature a number of accessories appropriate to the scenes including the flippers, oxygen tank, and goggles for his diving gear - as well as the underwater torch, knife, and spear used in the shark cage.
Shark Cage Matt Hooper is planned as an August 2022 release.
Jaws is considered one of the greatest achievements in film, paving the way for what would become the summer blockbuster. NECA is excited to announce a new 8" clothed figure featuring the licensed likeness of Richard Dreyfuss as Matt Hooper from the 1975 classic.
