NECA Friday the 13th Jason Voorhees releases, including the Savini Jason, Part 8 Jason, and Part 9 Jason

NECA has previewed three new Friday the 13th figures of Jason Voorhees via Dread Central and ahead of New York Toy Fair 2026.


They are all being released under the banner of Friday the 13th: The Game to avoid the complex licence issues attached to the franchise. While the Savini Jason is directly from The Game, the Part 8 and Part 9 Jasons are aligned to both the game and the movies from which they originated.

I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves.
