NYCC 2026: NECA Convention Exclusive Ultimate Blue Bird from Sesame Street

NECA has announced its final Convention Exclusive of 2026: the Ultimate Blue Bird figure as seen on Sesame Street. This is a variant of their existing Big Bird figure and will come in special convention boxed packaging complete with alternative hands, his necktie, Radar the Teddy Bear, a Book, and the letter "B".



The figure is open for a pre-sale window on the NECA Store as of the 24th of September. The item will also be available at New York Comic Con at the NECA booth. We've added Blue Bird to our extensive NECA Collector Database



As seen on TV, it’s Big Bird in his “blue bird” form! This 2026 Con Exclusive Big Bird is joining his friends on Sesame Street as a NECA Ultimate action figure. This deluxe figure of the beloved character stands over 10 inches tall and is in 7-inch scale with the other Sesame Street Ultimates. Big Bird features over 30 points of articulation, including a hinged jaw. Accessories include interchangeable hands, necktie, Radar the teddy bear, book, and the letter “B”! Presented in window box packaging with opening front flap, featuring classic storybook homage box art.

Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves.
