Fans of Murder She Wrote will be delighted to see not one, but two action figures announced by NECA and heading our way later this year.
In October 2024 we will see the 8-inch Jessica Fletcher reach our shelves. This is a retro format figure with tailored soft goods outfit including removable trenchcoat and two jumpers. The figure also comes with two head portraits of Angela Lansbury, her typewriter and a Jessica Fletcher novel.
Coming a little bit earlier in July 2024 is the Toony Classic release of Jessica posed with her handbag and torch. She is blister-carded and like all of NECA's Toony releases the packaging features a cut-out backdrop featuring a shadowy scene of Cabot Cove.
We don't want to alarm you, but something very sinister is going on! Thankfully, if anything’s afoot in Cabot Cove, you can always count on Jessica Fletcher to get to the bottom of it. The iconic mystery writer/amateur detective from Murder, She Wrote is now a NECA action figure ready to solve crimes with you! This fully articulated 8-inch figure is dressed in tailored soft goods clothing similar to the iconic toy lines of the 1970s. She comes with interchangeable expressions, interchangeable sweater, jacket, scarf, handbag, flashlight, typewriter, and her book The Corpse Danced at Midnight! Window box packaging.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
