McFarlane unveils new Mortal Kombat XI releases of Commando Spawn, Baraka, and Nightwolf

A trio of new McFarlane Mortal Kombat 7-inch figures have been listed for pre-order at Big Bad Toy Store. They include the 7-inch version of Commando Spawn, a new version of Baraka, and the recently previewed figure of Nightwolf.

The Commando Spawn in Dark Ages skin is taken from his Mortal Kombat 11 appearance and he features a pair of Necroplasm effect pieces that attach to his hands. Baraka is a tweak of the existing figure from 2020, now updated to his Tarkatan General skin from MK11. He features removable Tarkatan wrist blades and a brain accessory that can be skewered onto the blades.

Nightwolf is a new character in the series and is also based on Mk11 and his Lone Wolf skin. He comes packed with a pair of Tomahawks and his bow and arrow.

All three figures will be released in July 2022.

Al Simmons, once the U.S. government’s greatest soldier and most effective assassin, was mercilessly executed by his own men. Resurrected from the ashes of his own grave in a flawed agreement with the powers of darkness, Simmons is reborn as a creature from the depths of Hell. A Hell spawn. Now he is thrust into the world of Mortal Kombat, where he will fight for supremacy against all Kombatants.

Spawn is featured in his Dark Ages skin as seen in Mortal Kombat 11 and is designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing.

War Chief of the nomadic Tarkatan tribe, a carnivorous people considered subhuman by the Outworld Empire. Baraka dutifully serves Shao Kahn to preserve his tribe’s way of life, who roam the harsh Wastelands, meat carts in tow, consuming everything and everyone in their path. Baraka is featured in his Tarkatan General Skin from Mortal Kombat 11.

From MacFarlane Toys comes the latest addition to the Mortal Kombat line of figures! This 7 inch scale Baraka figure features 22 points of articulation and a high level of detail based on his looks from the Mortal Kombat XI video game.

Every generation, the Great Spirit chooses a worthy warrior to become Nightwolf: the Matoka’s champion and protector. Grey Cloud proved worthy when he laid down his life to prevent the Black Dragon from plundering what remained of his tribe’s sacred artifacts. As Nightwolf, Grey Cloud possesses extraordinary magic granted by the Great Spirit. He uses it not only to fight for the Matoka’s future, but also to defend all of Earthrealm.
