McFarlane have revealed that Wave 3 of their revisited 5 inch figures from The Walking Dead will feature Rick Grimes, Gas Mask Zombie, and Morgan Jones. These are all re-packed from the original releases.
Rick Grimes will feature a revolver, a handgun, a baseball bat, and a Walkie-Talkie. Morgan Jones comes with two head options, removable hood, backpack, rifle, and staff. The Gasmask Zombie includes two head options allowing for a display with or without the gas mask.
These opened for general pre-order as of the 5th of September 2025 and they are due to ship in November 2025. We've added the trio of new releases to our extensive McFarlane Collector Database
In the beginning of The Walking Dead series, we are introduced to deputy Rick Grimes. After waking from a coma in an abandoned hospital, Rick finds the world he knew gone. Bound to uphold the law, Rick is seen wearing his full deputy uniform in many of the iconic scenes from season 1, such as his encounter with the Bicycle Girl walker and riding horseback into the city of Atlanta.
A true survivor, Morgan has battled the apocalypse almost entirely on his own. After losing his family to the outbreak and almost losing himself in the process, Morgan has sought redemption by slaying the endless Walkers on his quest to find Rick Grimes. This version of Morgan depicts the survivalist in his battle ready armor and equipped with his favorite Walker dispatching weapons.
All Walkers are dangerous, but some pose a greater threat than others. Covered from head to toe in body armor, the riot gear zombies prove to be difficult to exterminate. In order to secure the prison, Rick and the group must come up with inventive ways to dispose of these Walkers. The Riot Gear Gas Mask Zombie, when paired with the Riot Gear Zombie, forms a threat like none the survivors have ever known.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
