McFarlane continues to list more DC Multiverse and DC Direct products for the 2025 James Gunn Superman movie.
Up first are the DC Multiverse releases, including a further look at Lex Luthor. Luthor is a Deluxe Theatrical Edition and will come with three head options, extra hands, and a Baby Kaiju figure. He is joined by Ultraman, who includes a variety of extra hand options. Both Ultraman and Lex Luthor are June 2025 releases.
There were then three DC Direct previews of Baby Kaiju, Baby Joey, and Metamorpho. These are 4.5 inch posed PVC figures, also shipping in June 2025.
A mysterious and powerful foe working for LuthorCorp is a physical threat even to Superman.
Tall, thin and bald and always impeccably dressed, brilliantly despicable billionaire Lex Luthor's God complex is matched only by his malicious disdain for Superman.
Donned only in a threadbare pair of wrestling trunks, Rex Mason, aka Metamorpho or The Element Man, is an eerie, haunted bald man with an ashen white face and a body that can be composed of different substances-clay, metal, and elements far more dangerous.
Baby Kaiju is unleashed in Metropolis, increasing in size at an advanced rate, he soon becomes a threat to the entire city.
Baby Joey is based on the 2025 theatrical film SUPERMAN.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
