McFarlane have been running a number of new EQL Run Fair 'draws' for Platinum Series DC figures, giving collectors a chance to win an opportunity to purchase these hard-to-find chase figures. These draws provide us with some new pictures and details of these figures.

We have Armoured Batman from Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, complete with soft goods cape and Kryptonite Spear.

From the DC Super Friends series, Wave 1, are Platinum Edition carded figures of The Riddler (Red Platinum) and Evil Batman (Silver Platinum).

Gotham City's formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before. BATMAN (ARMOR SUIT) as featured in BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE - Chase Platinum Edition.

Super Friends Wave 1 Red Platinum Edition Riddler and Platinum Edition Evil Batman CHASE. Possessing a genius-level intellect, the Riddler creates elaborate, sometimes Rube Goldberg-esque traps, and is even willing to use innocent civilians as bait. Although not physically imposing, the Riddler’s brilliance, neurosis and lack of empathy make him an incredibly dangerous foe. He cares very little—if at all—about the lives of those he uses in his plots and instead only sees them as disposable pawns in his continuing intellectual battle against Batman. Each 6" scale figure is detailed in retro style and blister packaging based on DC SUPER FRIENDS.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
