It seems fairly common practice now for McFarlane to tweak one of their new releases to create an exclusive variant for stores in the US. We have seen it most recently with Mortal Kombat at Gamestop, and now McFarlane have announced they will be doing it with their new Doomslayer figure from Doom! exclusive to Walgreen stores.
The figure uses the basic Doom Slayer sculpt but it is repainted to a bronze colour scheme and includes a Supershotgun and an extended arm blade.
The figure is due release in November 2019 into Walgreens.
The Doom Slayer (also known by the UAC as DM1-5, DOOM Marine or The Slayer, the Demons of Hell as the Doom Slayer, the Unchained Predator, the Hell Walker or to the fandom DOOM Guy) has been the main protagonist for most the series and playable character in Doom franchise and in the upcom-ing Doom Eternal. His origin is intentionally vague, but he wears his iconic green Space Marine armor and slaughters through countless demons and monsters on a perpetual war against hell.
