McFarlane DC Super Powers October 2023 releases including Batman, Superman, Whirlygig and Peacemaker

After previews at SDCC 2023 and some early Walmart US listings, the full set of McFarane's DC Super Powers Autumn 2023 releases have been fully revealed ahead of an October 2023 release. The single figures include a Black Suited Batman, Tim Drake Robin, Superman, Flashpoint Thomas Wayne Batman, The Flash, and Nightwing.

They are joined by a trio of figures in a three-pack. The set includes retro iterations of Peacemaker, Vigilante, and Judomaster. The Autumn set is completed with a boxed Whirlygig helicopter vehicle.

While this line started as Walmart US exclusives, it seems they are now general releases at selected stockists.

In the name of his murdered parents, BRUCE WAYNE™ wages eternal war on the criminals of GOTHAM CITY™. He is vengeance. He is the night. He is BATMAN™!

TIM DRAKE possesses detective skills comparable to those of his mentor BATMAN, though his heart may be his greatest weapon.

Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive…The MAN OF STEEL™ fights a never-ending battle for truth, justice, and the American way.

In the alternate timeline known as Flashpoint™ , Thomas and Martha Wayne survived their deadly encounter in Crime Alley. Sadly, their young son, Bruce, was killed instead. Driven by the death of his son, Thomas became Batman.

His name is Wally West. He is the Fastest Man Alive. From Kid Flash to The Flash, Wally has lived one of the strangest lives of any speedster, traversing multiple plains of existence just to find his way back home.

After leaving GOTHAM CITY™ to team up with other young heroes, DICK GRAYSON became NIGHTWING™, determined to step out of BATMAN'S shadow.

PEACEMAKER™ Real name: CHRISTOPHER SMITH: When diplomacy isn't enough, PEACEMAKER™ loves peace so much he is willing to fight for it - violently, if necessary.

VIGILANTE™ Real name: ADRIAN CHASE: A master of all forms of unarmed combat, VIGILANTE™ is also an expert in the use of firearms and knives. He is in superb physical shape and, combined with his superior skills in the martial arts, is a formidable opponent in almost any situation.

JUDOMASTER™ Real name: RIP JAGGER: Skilled in all forms of judo, jujitsu and other martial arts, JUDOMASTER™ is an accomplished hand-to-hand combatant. He is also an above-average boxer and combines both disciplines to good effect.

When villainy is afoot, BATMAN™ and ROBIN™ take to the skies with the WHIRLYBAT. Lightweight and remarkably agile, this single-seat helicopter is the perfect pursuit vehicle for maneuvering through the tightly-packed skyscrapers of GOTHAM CITY™.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
