McFarlane DC Multiverse Gold Label releases of Dread Lantern and Captain Atom

Following their preview images a few weeks back, we now have full listings for the McFarlane DC Multiverse Gold Label figures of Dread Lantern from Dark Nights: Metal and Captain Atom from New 52. The figures are exclusives in the US with Captain Atom listed as Walmart while Dread Lantern's final destination in the US is pending. Here in the UK they are being offered via the UK distributor and are available at selected McFarlane stockists for a July 2023 release.



Following the defeat of the Anti-Monitor™, only one Earth remained! But which Earth? In one timeline, Earth-1's Superman™ prevented Earth-2 Superman from going into final battle, but in the Dark Multiverse, it was Jor-El of Earth-2 who survived. When the powerful demon Surtur sought to destroy this new Earth, Green Lantern™ Alan Scott™ struck an unthinkable deal to protect his planet and its inhabitants. In exchange for Earth's safety, Alan volunteered to serve as the demon's herald. The former Green Lantern now guides Surtur and his armies to unknowing worlds, bringing Ragnarok to trillions upon trillions as the terrible Dread Lantern™.



Grounded USAF pilot NATHANIEL ADAM found work at the CONTINUUM, a research facility run by quantum physicist DR. MEGALA. MEGALA wanted NATE to pilot an experimental capsule designed to travel to other dimensions. When activated, the capsule imploded, destroying NATE at a subatomic level. NATE soon reappeared and discovered he had become a living nuclear reactor, with the ability to manipulate the quantum field! GENERAL WADE EILING insisted NATE was now a military asset-and a living weapon of mass destruction. Nate refused to cooperate and instead chose to serve the world as CAPTAIN ATOM!
