McFarlane DC Multiverse Gold Label Exclusive Crisis on Infinite Earths wave

A full new wave of DC Multiverse Gold Label figures have been released for pre-order exclusively at the McFarlane store in the US. The four-figure wave is based on the Crisis on Infinite Earth storyline and features new figures of Kid Flash, Psycho-Pirate, The Spectre, and Superman of Earth-2. There is also a fifth figure of Monitor split across the wave as a build-a-figure.

This new wave does see a considerable jump in price point to $39.99 which is over £30 here in the UK. The figures are due to ship in the US in March. The availability of Gold Label figures outside of the US is dealt with via the regional distributor, so the availability of this wave in the UK will hopefully be done via Bandai UK and into McFarlane stockists.

Superman is the world's greatest hero. He is a tireless champion dedicated to protecting life and battling injustice not only in his city of Metropolis, but also all over his adopted world and across the universe. With his fantastic powers and abilities, fueled by his alien cells, which hyper-efficiently process the solar energy of Earth's yellow sun, Superman is an unstoppable force for good and a steadfast punisher of evil. Superman is a founding member of the Justice Society, and an inspiration to countless other heroes, continuing into the 31st century and beyond

Roger Hayden was one of the Twenty humans Brainiac bestowed psionic powers on. Hayden believed his Medusa Mask allowed him to control the virus. He escaped the H.I.V.E. Queen, who was draining the energies of the Twenty, and found Superman. Hayden informed him Brainiac would use the Twenty as hosts for the minds of people from his destroyed home planet. Hayden tried to drain Superman's energy to free the Twenty, but Lois Lane defeated him.

First becoming Kid Flash, a founding member of the Teen Titans, Wally eventually accepted the role of The Flash after Barry sacrificed his life to save the universe during the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Just as heroic as his mentor, The Flash defended Keystone City from all manner of threats and rogues, and helped protect the world as a longtime member of the Justice League. About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
