McFarlane DC Multiverse Batmobeast, Dark Nights: Death Metal

The enormous McFarlane DC Multiverse Batmobeast has been listed for pre-order, and a gallery of promotional imagery was released at the same time. Based on Dark Nights: Death Metal comic, the Batmobeast is listed as 17-inches long and 11-inches tall. The full body of the vehicle lifts off to accommodate 7-inch DC Multiverse figures. It is packed in a cardboard tray box and will include the usual art card pack in.

There is not long to wait on this monster item either, the ETA on the Batmobeast is January 2022

After one world within the Dark Multiverse devolved into chaos, Batman uploaded his consciousness into every piece of technology to enforce and protect humanity. However, his protection and leadership soon turned to tyranny, and those he sought to save revolted against him. In an attempt to regain their freedom, humanity wiped Batman from every piece of tech on Earth—except one, the Batmobeast. Designed to be the ultimate all-terrain vehicle, this monstrous Batmobile now holds all the imprints of Batman’s consciousness, and races across the desolate landscape of its broken planet.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
