McFarlane's new DC Multiverse releases of Azrael Batman from Knightquest, Batman from Troika, and an updated version 2 Batwing from New 52 are now open for pre-ordering at McFarlane stockists.

The figures each come with the usual display stand and collector card as well as appropriate accessories, including alternative hands & a Battarang for Batman. Azrael will include a set of segmented wings, while Batwing comes with a blast effect.

The three figures are listed as August 2025 releases. Our extensive McFarlane Collector Database has been updated with these new figures

Luke Fox never intended to follow his father, Lucius Fox, into a career with Wayne Industries. Despite a gift for technological innovation equal to his father’s, Luke preferred to go his own way. This attitude frustrated Lucius, who felt his son was squandering his potential and opportunities. While constantly arguing with his father, Luke pursued fighting arts, participating in numerous mixed martial arts events. His intelligence, resolve, and combat skills soon attracted Batman’s attention, and the Dark Knight offered Luke the role of one his agents after original Batwing David Zavimbe retired.

Pre-Flashpoint, Jean-Paul Valley’s discovery of his dying father dressed as Azrael changed his life forever. Brainwashed by the System to become the Church of St. Dumas’ assassin, Jean-Paul worked with Batman instead, standing in for the Dark Knight when Bane broke the hero’s back. Unbalanced by his upbringing, Valley became a more violent Batman and wore heavier armor. He later surrendered the mantle to a newly healed Bruce Wayne and set out on his own adventures as Azrael.

Bruce Wayne returns to his role as Gotham City's protector, Batman! The Knightfall Saga reaches its conclusion as Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City! A new era begins, as Batman reinvents himself to take on a new breed of foe. When the Bat-Family declares war against former KGB operatives with plans to take control of Gotham City's underworld, who will come out the victor? In the midst of all of this, Bruce Wayne must also cope with his decision to pass on the mantle of Batman to Jean-Paul Valley

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
