Dropped in conjunction with the NYCC event are these new McFarlane DC Multiverse Absolute figures, listed first at EB Games. The four-figure set includes an Absolute Deathstroke, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman.
Deathstroke will include his sword and a special waist-clip display stand. The other three figures include the usual circular display base. Wonder Woman will feature an alternative pair of hands and her sword. Superman has a soft goods cape and alternative 'flight' hands. Batman comes with his Concrete Circular Saw. All four figures come with the collector card.
These have gone directly into stock at EB Games. We've added the foursome to our extensive McFarlane Collector Database
Deathstroke™ is a ruthless tactical mastermind and privateer, he starts, engages in and ends wars for money, in the Absolute Universe. Enhanced through military experimentation and hardened by years of warfare, Slade Wilson possesses heightened strength, reflexes, and strategic intelligence that make him nearly unstoppable in combat. Operating by his own code and driven by survival above all else, Absolute Deathstroke is feared by heroes and criminals alike. Cold, calculating, and relentless, he represents the ultimate fusion of discipline, violence, and precision.
Wonder Woman™ is a fierce warrior shaped by a world of myth, conflict, and sacrifice. Taken from her Amazonian home at birth and raised in the Underworld by the witch Circe, this reimagined Diana embodies both compassion and righteous power. Armed with legendary weapons and trained in the art of sorcery, she has fought her way to our world to stand against tyranny and chaos wherever they emerge. In the Absolute Universe, Wonder Woman is more than a hero, she is a symbol of strength, honor, and defiance in the face of overwhelming darkness
Superman™ reimagines the Man of Steel™ in a harsher and more fractured world. Raised on Krypton™ with a deep sense of responsibility, but forced into isolation on Earth by the destruction of his homeworld, this version of Kal-El struggles to balance immense power with humanity's distrust. Possessing extraordinary strength, flight, and heat vision, Absolute Superman stands as a beacon of hope in a world consumed by fear and conflict. Though burdened by the weight of his abilities, he remains committed to protecting the innocent and inspiring others to rise above despair.
Batman™ is a darker, more brutal reimagining of The Dark Knight™ within DC's Absolute Universe. Stripped of wealth and privilege, this version of Bruce Wayne relies on relentless determination, raw physicality, and tactical brilliance to wage war on the corruption that rules Gotham™. Driven by trauma and an uncompromising sense of justice, Absolute Batman operates as an urban myth, feared by criminals and hunted by the powers that be. In a world pushed to the edge, he stands as a symbol of vengeance, resilience, and resistance.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
