McFarlane announce Takemura figure for Cyberpunk 2077 line

We are still awaiting the arrival of the game, but McFarlane have confirmed the 4th of their 7 inch scale Cyberpunk 2077 line as Takemura.

We've had V and two versions of Johnny Silverhand to date, and they will be joined in September 2020 by Takemura. We don't know much at this stage about Takemura, or indeed any of the characters. Takemura will be armed with an sub machine gun as well as a display stand. He will retail at $24.99

Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person, open-world, action-adventure RPG set in the dark future. Players will take on the role of V — a cyber-enhanced mercenary outlaw in the technology-obsessed megalopolis of Night City. Players can use a variety of upgradeable weapons, hacking skills, and body-enhancing implants to become the best hired gun in town. Night City is a dense world filled with many stories to uncover and choices to make.

Product Features:

  • Incredibly detailed 7” scale Takemura figure, inspired by CD PROJEKT RED’s upcoming video game — Cyberpunk 2077.

  • Designed with Ultra Articulation, featuring up to 22 moving parts for a full range of pose positions.

  • Includes an SMG and base.

  • Figure is showcased in Cyberpunk 2077 themed window box packaging.

About Me : As a child of the 70's and 80's I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force) and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licences - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
