Hasbro marked the May the 4th weekend with a new Fan Stream event showcasing a number of new products across both the Star Wars Black Series and Vintage Collection.

This post will feature screenshots and top-line info until Hasbro shares its PR pack. New Black Series reveals will be added to our comprehensive Star Wars Black Series Database

The event was split into segments including a recap in each on the most recent reveals from Star Wars Celebration.

The Star Wars Black Series reveals started off with a look at the new Army Building 2-Pack from Rogue One featuring the Death Trooper Specialist and Shore Trooper. These were seen at Star Wars Celebration, but are now officially confirmed. The set is a Hasbro Pulse exclusive coming Summer 2025, with pre-orders live from May the 4th.

The next reveal was a Sandtrooper from A New Hope, an update using the new Stormtrooper body with updated parts and a first release of an RT-97c blaster. This is the trooper's first appearance in the Galaxy Collection and it is number 12 in the A New Hope Series.

The reveals then moved to the prequels and the 20th Anniversary of Revenge of the Sith. The next reveal was Clone Lieutenant Gale. He will be number 3 in the ROTS Galaxy Collection and uses the new Clone Trooper body with updated parts to match his look during the Order 66 sequence. Both the Sandtrooper and Gale are general releases, likely part of a wider wave, with pre-ordering live as of May the 4th.

The Revenge of the Sith theme continued with the next reveal of Aayla Secura in the Walmart (US) ROTS Anniversary packaging. She is a re-pack but is updated with a motion-blurred lightsaber blade. She is joined by a ROTS Anniversary release of the Magna Guard, updated with a blue metallic decor as seen in ROTS and with updated soft goods with burned edges.

These are US Walmart Exclusives and Fan Channel releases elsewhere. They should be on shelves for Summer 2025 with pre-ordering live on May the 4th.

The final reveal was a roleplay release of an Ezra Bridger 1:1 roleplay Lightsaber as seen in Ahsoka.

The Vintage reveals kicked off with a new three-pack celebrating the Stormtroopers of the original Trilogy. The set includes a Sand Trooper from A New Hope, a Snowtrooper Commander from Empire Strikes Back, and a Scout Trooper from Return of the Jedi. The set is a Hasbro Pulse Exclusive with pre-order going live on May the 4th

The Trooper theme from the Original Trilogy continues with an updated Imperial Stormtrooper from A New Hope on an updated cardback.

The pipleine from last year for Obi-Wak Kenobi is now revealed in full and includes dual soft goods to recreate Ben's robes from A New Hope. Both the Stormtrooper and Obi-Wan Kenobi figures are general releases, pre-orders live as of May the 4th.

The final reveal was a new multi-pack featuring updated VC figures using the original 1977 Kenner Deco. The set includes Hammer Head, Greedo, Walrus Man and Snaggle Tooth. Nods to the original Kenner toys also include side-eyes for Hammerhead and Snaggle Tooth in blue jumpsuit. The four figures are individually carded, then packed into a larger Cantina Adventure Series box with the Cantina backdrop included for display. The set is a Summer 2025 release on Hasbro Pulse with a May 4th pre-order.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
