Marvel Select Annihilus from Diamond alongside re-releases of Sabertooth and Ghost Rider

Following previews over the Summer convention scene, the new Marvel Select Annihilus from Marvel Select has opened for pre-orders at Diamond Stockists with a September 2024 release date. The 7-inch figure of Annihilus features a non-articulated version of the character before he was changed and it all comes packed in the Select blister packaging.

We can also look forward to a trio of re-releases in 2024 with Diamond also reissuing their Sabretooth, Green Goblin and Ghost Rider Marvel Select figures. This pair will arrive in June 2024

The ruler of the Negative Zone has unleashed his Annihilation Wave and no force on Earth can stop him! This 1/10 scale, approximately 7" figure of Fantastic Four foe and Guardians of the Galaxy antagonist Annihilus is based on his appearance in classic Marvel Comics.

With poseable wings, interchangeable parts and 16 points of articulation, this figure also includes a non-poseable figurine of Annihilus before he was changed by the Cosmic Control Rod! It comes packaged in Select-style blister card packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference.

A maniacal manifestation of Norman Osborn's chemical-induced insanity, the Green Goblin has done more than any other villain to wreck Spider-Man's world. An accident involving an untested, experimental formula granted Norman Osborn superhuman strength, a heightened intellect and an accelerated healing factor - at the cost of his sanity.

The Green Goblin rides a high-flying Goblin Glider and carries a power-packed arsenal, including incendiary and concussion grenades theatrically cast in the form of miniature jack o' lanterns, and gloves capable of discharging electrical pulses of up to 10,000 volts.

The Green Goblin was sculpted by Sam Greenwell, and comes with a Goblin Glider and a bound figure of Peter Parker, as seen on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man 39.

Presenting a new take on a classic villain, this 7-inch action figure release features Wolverine's most hated enemy: Sabretooth! From the pages of Marvel Comics history, Sabretooth is depicted with his classic costume and features a deluxe base and multiple points of articulation. Designed by Dig Deep Entertainment and sculpted by Gentle Giant, this is one heavy-hitting mutant you don't want to miss!

A Diamond Select Release! Sculpted by Steve Kiwus! It's a blast (of Hellfire) from the past! Originally released in 2007, this detailed 7-inch figure of Johnny Blaze, the original Ghost Rider, back for the first time since its original release! Finally, fans who missed out will have a chance to own this classic item! Figure comes with detailed underworld base in display-ready Select packaging, with shelf reference panel.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
