Diamond Select Toys unveiled their new 7 inch Lord of the Rings Select line at Toy Fair 2020 with six figures planned over 3 waves - with the ability to build a Sauron figure if you collect all 6.
The first wave has gone up for pre-orders and with that has come the first promo images of Gimli and Legolas.
From The Lord of the Rings saga, the epic Select Series begins with the original odd couple, the dwarf Gimli and the elf Legolas! Each 7-inch scale figure features 16 points of articulation, detailed sculpting, and a full range of accessories. Each comes packaged in a full-color window box with hangtag, and also comes with a piece of Sauron - collect the whole line to build the 13-inch villain!

The initial images for Gimli look great. He is listed as coming with a single weapon which we assume is his axe.
Legolas looks a little bit out of proportion. He comes with unspecified weapons too - with only an arrow pictures with the promotional image. We'd hope he includes his bow as well as his blades and it would be nice for Diamond to confirm this before we commit to pre-orders.
Diamond have shared an image of Sauron - the BAF - but it is not clear how much of this is a digital sculpt rather than the actual figure.
This first wave is down for a September 2020 release.
