Hiya Toys Exquisite Basic Mechagodzilla 'Heavy Arms' from Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S.

Hiya Toys has announced the Exquisite Basic release of Mechagodzilla, the Heavy Arms version from Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. from 2003.


The 7.7-inch-tall figure includes Mechagodzilla's back unit that can be attached to recreate Mechagodzilla’s Heavily Armed configuration. You also get two railguns, thruster nozzles, spiral claw, and alternative hands.



The figure is a general release in all areas apart from Japan. It is listed as a Q3 (July - September) 2027 release.



Mechagodzilla reactivated! The Mechagodzilla Heavy Arms / High Mobility Version from Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003) joins Hiya Toys’ EXQUISITE BASIC series!


This time, the battlefield is in Tokyo. In the 27th film in the series, three monsters clash across the city's famous landmarks. Kiryu, created using Godzilla’s DNA and having nearly defeated Godzilla in the previous film, returns to battle alongside Mothra, who appears with the Shobijin for the first time in five years. Their confrontation with Godzilla leads to a megaton-scale battle.

This new EXQUISITE BASIC Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003) Mechagodzilla Heavy Arms / High Mobility Version action figure stands approximately 19.5cm tall. The figure recreates Mechagodzilla’s mechanical body and the “MFS-3” marking on its left chest. Layered metallic paint and weathering are applied across the armor, while the chest mounted Triple Hyper Maser Cannon, energy cables, armor, and riveted structures are recreated throughout the figure.

The figure features multiple points of articulation while retaining the on-screen design. The large back unit can be securely attached to recreate Mechagodzilla’s Heavily Armed configuration.


Accessories include 2x Railguns, 1x thruster nozzles, 1x Spiral Claw and 1x interchangeable hands, allowing you to recreate Mechagodzilla’s all-out firepower, close-quarters combat, and signature Spiral Claw attacks.
