Hiya's next Toho release in their Exquisite Basic series will be a Heat Ray Godzilla as seen in the 2001 movie Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.
The new Hiya figure will stand approximately 7 inches tall and will include alternative hands as well as a heat ray effect part. The figure is a Quarter 1 release in 2026 (January - March), and the figure should be available everywhere, except Japan
This 25th installment in the series marks the first time Shusuke Kaneko, known for the Heisei Gamera series, took on a Godzilla film. The story combines the concept of Godzilla making landfall in Japan again for the first time in nearly 50 years since his original attack on Tokyo, with elements from the folk legend 《護国聖獣伝記》. Brigadier General Tachibana of the Defense Forces warns of Godzilla’s return based on various social phenomena, but the military, complacent in peace, ignores his warnings. Meanwhile, Yuri, a TV staff member working on a paranormal phenomena show, encounters a series of mysterious incidents. The monsters Mothra, Baragon, and King Ghidorah appear to face off against Godzilla.
This brand new Heat Ray Godzilla action figure stands 18CM tall, based on Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001). It features finely sculpted details that capture Godzilla’s rough, rugged skin, distinctive vengeful white eyes, powerful legs, and massive feet. With multi-layered paint applied to clear dorsal fins' parts, the figure vividly recreates the dorsal fins’ charging state under lighting. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it perfectly captures the fearsome look of the God of Destruction.
Features multiple joints throughout the body, ensuring an authentic appearance while providing a wide range of articulation. With additional 2x interchangeable hand parts and Heat Ray effect part, let you recreate various combat scenes from the film!

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
