Hasbro Star Wars 'Imperial March' Fan Stream Vintage Collection Reveals

March 20th saw the Hasbro Star Wars team hold a live Fan Stream event, aligned into the new Imperial March program of releases and reveals. The event took us through a number of new releases for both the Black Series and the Vintage Collection as well as giving us some pipeline reveals to look forward to in the future.

The Vintage Collection reveals were very loosely tied in to an Imperial Theme and included new releases of Princess Leia and R2-D" fro their iconic scene on board the Tantive IV during the early scenes of A New Hope. Both figures are live for pre-order as of the 21st of March 2024 with the figures due Summer 2024.

The Fan Stream followed on directly from the first Teaser Trailer for The Acolyte which premiered the day before. From the show, the team previewed two new Acolyte figures of Master Sol and Mae (Assassin). These are also preorders live as of the 21st of March, but are Autumn 2024 releases.

The Pipeline reveals for the VIntage Collection included a Jetpack Trooper from Jedi: Fallen Order, Grnd Armiral Thrwarn from Ahsoka, a new Troop building 4-pack of Rebel Pilots, a Blurg and a new environment playset from Moff Gideon's Cruiser. We were also left with the big news that a Star Wars HasLab is incoming this year and it will be for the VIntage Collection. More info will be released during the week of May the 4th.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
