Hasbro Pulse Star Wars Fan Stream, Black Series Reveals including Star Wars Celebration Exclusive



Hasbro's Star Wars Development Team of Jing, Emily, Eric, and Chris hosted a Star Wars Fan Stream event on the 1st of February 2023 revealing a raft of new Star Wars products for fans to look forward to across Spring & Summer 2023 and beyond.



The Hasbro Team confirmed they will be attending Star Wars Celebration in London and will be bringing a new Star Wars Black Series Celebration Exclusive with them. The exclusive 'Revenge of the Jedi' Darth Vader is part of the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary and is based on one of the early promotional posters for the movie that was still carrying the original 'Revenge' title. The figure comes with a lightsaber and is packed in an exclusive bo that features a pull-out panel of the original poster and a stand onto which the poster can be displayed. The figure will be available at Star Wars Celebration which runs from the 7th to the 10th of April. Details of how the figure will be sold will follow in the next few weeks.



STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES DARTH VADER (REVENGE OF THE JEDI)

(HASBRO/Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $33.99 / Available: Star Wars Celebration) REVENGE OF THE JEDI, Episode VI’s working title, was featured in the film’s first trailer and early promotional materials. But just before its release, the name was changed to STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI. Commemorate the 40th Anniversary of STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI with this DARTH VADER figure from The Black Series, featuring classic design and packaging! This premium 6-inch DARTH VADER figure is inspired by the design and color palette of the original STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE JEDI poster. Fans can display this figure which features premium detail and multiple points of articulation. Includes figure and Lightsaber accessory. Available exclusively at Star Wars Celebration.


Continuing the 40th Anniversary Return of the Jedi Black Series reveals is the first look at the Rebel Endor Trooper which was a pipeline reveal in late 2022. He is a brand new sculpt and includes two blasters, a removable backpack, a removable bandoleer, and a swap-out head allowing you two trooper options - the second being the older bearded Trooper, Nik Sant.


The Endor Trooper is a general US release, and a Fan Channel it the UK and Europe. It will arrive in Summer 2023.



STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES REBEL TROOPER (ENDOR)

(HASBRO/Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $33.99 / Available: Summer 2023) Commemorate the 40th Anniversary of STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI with this REBEL TROOPER (ENDOR) figure from The Black Series, featuring classic design and packaging! This premium 6-inch REBEL TROOPER (ENDOR) figure is inspired by the character’s appearance in STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI. Fans can display this figure which features premium detail and multiple points of articulation. Includes figure and 4 entertainment-inspired accessories, including an alternate face plate. Available this Summer at Hasbro Pulse and most major retailers.


The live event then moved to the other anniversary in 2023, the 20th Anniversary of The Clone Wars. The first reveal for this celebration is ARC Clone Commander Jesse who is a re-decor of the existing ARC Trooper and features a removable helmet and fully painted Jesse head sculpt underneath. He comes with twin blasters. The figure is a Walmart US exclusive, and Fan Channel here in the UK and around Europe. The figure can be preordered in the US at Walmart Collector Con on March 16th (10am EST) - it is assumed, but not confirmed, that UK and European pre-orders may open at the same time.



STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES PHASE II CLONE COMMANDER JESSE

(HASBRO/Ages 4 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $27.99 / Available: Summer 2023)

STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the biggest battles and missions in the STAR WARS galaxy with this CLONE COMMANDER JESSE figure from The Black Series. This premium 6-inch CLONE COMMANDER JESSE figure is inspired by the character in STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS in time for the animated series’ 20th anniversary. Hard-fighting patriot Jesse proudly wears the Galactic Republic’s symbol on his helmet and as a face tattoo. After Order 66, however, his loyalty shifts from the Republic. Fans can display this figure which features premium detail and multiple points of articulation. Includes figure and 4 entertainment-inspired accessories including an alternate face plate. Available for pre-order this March as part of Walmart’s Collector Con and on-shelf this Summer.


Another previous pipeline reveal Ki-Adi Mundi was fully revealed today. He is a new body and features a lightsaber with the ability to clip the hilt to his belt. Ki-Adi is still a way off in terms of a release date and he is scheduled to arrive in 2024 with more details to follow.



STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES KI-ADI MUNDI

(HASBRO/Ages 4 years & up/Available: Spring 2024)

STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium 6- inch KI-ADI MUNDI figure, inspired by the character in the STAR WARS: ATTACK OF THE CLONES. Ki-Adi Mundi was a Cerean alien who sat on the Jedi Council. A humanoid being, Ki’s most distinguishing physical feature was an enlarged conical cranium that contained a binary brain. Fans and collectors can display this fully articulated figure featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes figure and Lightsaber accessory. Available Spring 2024 exclusively at fan channel retailers.


The final reveal for the Black Series was another 40th Anniversary product, a 1:1 role-play Scout Trooper helmet. It includes the voice changer and features a flip-up face plate.



STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES SCOUT TROOPER PREMIUM ELECTRONIC HELMET (HASBRO/Ages 14 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $131.99/Available: Summer 2023)

Used by the Empire for various missions, Scout Troopers were lightly armored compared with other Stormtroopers, allowing them to move more quickly and easily in a range of environments. STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the biggest battles and missions in the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium roleplay, SCOUT TROOPER PREMIUM ELECTRONIC HELMET, inspired by the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Features premium deco, realistic detail, movie-inspired design and electronic voice distortion so fans and collectors can have their voice to sound just like a Scout Trooper. Available this Summer at Hasbro Pulse and most major retailers. [Requires 1x AAA batteries – not included]


We finished the Live Stream with the usual pipeline reveals, with confirmation that a Book of Boba Fett Luke Skywalker & Grogu 'build-up' set is coming, as is a Deluxe release of Darth Malgus from the Old Republic video game. Roleplay collectors can also look forward to an Ahsoka Loyalist Clone Trooper helmet.
