Hasbro Avengers Endgame figures leak on eBay (SPOILERS)

Updated: Feb 12, 2019

As is often the case, figures for the new Avengers : Endgame movie have found their way onto eBay ahead of any street date.

The figures in question are a little further down in the article, and while they don't contain any major spoilers we are giving you the chance to leave the article now....

These are the basic articulation 5.5 / 6 inch figure line we saw debut for Black Panther last year and that extended into Infinity War later in the Summer. The figures are essentially 5 POA as a base and are made to a set size rather than a scale. That means some fit with true 1/12 figures (as we saw with Shuri and Widow in 2018) others are too small.

The first two figures leaked are a repack of one of the 2018 figures, War Machine, who we have seen suit up in the recent Super Bowl TV spot. The other figure is a brand new "Ronin" figure, the persona of Clint Barton in Endgame.

Both figures come in white themed blister packs, and interestingly there is no direct reference to Endgame on the pack - only the Avengers logo.

The back of each card gives some basic character details and the "also look for" figures, showing images of Captain America, Iron-Man and Captain Marvel.

More images were then shared by thepoey on Instagram of the Captain America, Captain Marvel and Iron-Man figures. Apparently the so called "quantum suits" that Captain America and Iron-Man are wearing may or may not be relevant to the movie as Director Joe Russo recently said in an article in CBR.com

"What’s interesting about toy leaks is that 99 percent of the time they’re not accurate. Because toys are, frankly, tailored to either old concepts or completely different concepts than what’s in the movie," Russo explained. "I laugh a lot when those toy leaks show up because I’m like, well, that’s great, because that’s a misdirect, because it has nothing to do with the film.” These figures have an apparent street date for March, still ahead of the movie launch.

For me these are great kid friendly figures for £10 or less that satisfies a child for the hype of the movie and allows for value for money team building, without shelling out the £20 or so on a Legends figure.
