Funko announce 5.5" Mortal Kombat Action Figures

Funko are branching out to yet another type of collectible figure with these new Mortal Kombat figures.

The figures are about 5 1/2" high and come on a retro feel blister card. The style is difficult to categorise, but they certainly borrow from the type of over-exagerated muscle bound figures we saw in the mid-80's, Masters of the Universe in particular.

The first wave (assuming these are expanded) will include 5 figures. They are Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Liu Kang and Kitana. Most come with weaponry of some description. They will retail in the US at $14.99, so expect to pay £12 or so here in UK. Release date is set for February 2018,
