Doctor Who Vortex Edition Season 7 set featuring Liz Shaw from The Silurians, and the Primord from Inferno

The third Character Toys Exclusive Doctor Who Set in their Yeti collect-and-build series will be the Classic Set featuring Liz Shaw and the Primord from Inferno.

The set is now confirmed to open for orders from 10 am on the 14th of September. That first date is for anyone who pre-ordered Set 2 (the Fifteenth Doctor), who will get early access to the next release. General orders will open at 10 am on the 15th of September. Like all the sets, you can only get this on the Character Toys website, and it will be an immediate dispatch.

With this confirmation of the ordering window, we also get new images of this Season 7 set, including the packaging. As well as the two figures, you will also get an Auton Energy Sphere as seen in Spearhead from Space (1970) and a Metebelis Crystal from The Green Death (1973). The collect-and-build part this time round will be the Yeti's right arm.

Character options is delighted to launch the third set from its Collect and Build vortex series – The Season Seven Set. This five-piece set includes both a Liz Shaw and Professor Stahlman as ‘Primord’ figure.

The Liz Shaw figure in this set, is as she was seen in “The Silurians” wearing a bright red dress with copper accent belt, black knee length boots and hair tied back with a brown ribbon. Her figure comes with the ‘Primord’ figure version of Professor Stahlman. The head of Project Inferno, Stahlman was the lead scientist who became infected with a primordial ooze which slowly mutated him into a slavering aggressive ‘Primord’. This figure represents Professor Stahlman fully transformed but still in his white lab coat, tweed suit and waistcoat. 

Two accessories are included in the set – a large transparent Auton Energy Sphere from ‘Spearhead from Space 1970’ and the Doctors blue Metebelis Crystal, first seen in ‘The Green Death 1973’.

This limited-edition Doctor Who Collect & Build “Vortex” set includes a crucial part of the Collect & Build ‘Yeti’ figure. This third set will add the right arm of the phenomenal Abominable Snowman figure that can be constructed once all five sets have been collected.

The set is beautifully presented in an open style presentation box. Perfect for all Doctor Who fans and collectors.
