Character Options have announced the lineup for this years B&M stores Doctor Who product. Up first are three Sonic Screwdrivers as seen in the 50th Anniversary. These will be for the Tenth, Eleventh and War Doctor and are electronic with lights and sounds.
"Fans of the Doctor’s Sonic Screwdrivers will be able to get their hands on a heritage set of three popular incarnations.. The new blister-pack series will include electronic versions, inspired by the 50th anniversary episode, of the Tenth, Eleventh and War Doctor’s sonics."
The exciting news is for the 5 inch action figure line with three new unique sets that pair a Doctor with a Dalek with each set inspired by the audiobooks from Big Finish! We will have a brane new Eighth Doctor and the Dalek Interrogator prime from the audio book Garden of Death.
The other two sets will feature the Seventh and War Doctors. Details on these are not confirmed but we assume they will be repaints rather than brand new sculpts. The War Doctor is likely to be a simple repack, and perhaps a different Dalek colour scheme such as the one see in Engines of War - or a tweak to the Dalek Time Controller from Casualties of War. The Seventh Doctor pack is anyone's guess considering the volume of stories he has had in his Big Finish career. These Dalek 2-packs will be £19.99 each.
"For action figure fans, Character Options presents a set of three unique Doctor & Dalek Twin Packs, inspired by the Doctor Who audio series from Big Finish. This includes a brand new take on the Eighth Doctor, plus the Dalek Interrogator Prime, as featured in Big Finish audio book story In the Garden of Death. The two additional Doctor and Daleks sets to be released from this range will feature the Seventh and War Doctors respectively."
And that is not all. We are also getting two new TARDIS sets, one from the 1970's and one from the 1980's - priced at £19.99 each. And as per the last few years, we have three new 3-packs featuring figures from the era's of the Second, Fourth, Sixth and Seventh Doctor - priced at £17.99 each.
There are no images yet of the sets but Character plan to do an unboxing in July to reveal all of the figures - we would then expect to see them in B&M stores in late July / early August
