DC Collectibles have announced a new set of figures based on the 2019 animated movie Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The line will be exclusive to Gamestop in the US and is made up of five different character two packs. We have Batman and Leonardo with each figure getting a raft of alternative hands. Batman gets his batarang and ascension gun, while Leonardo has his dual swords. There is also a slice of pizza each.
Joining them for a September 2019 release is Robin and Raphael. Robin has two head options - one hooded, one not - and his staff, batarang, ascension gun and a bat symbol. Raphael also has two head options, swap out hands and his dual Sai's - again slices of pizza are packed in too.
We then hit October 2019 where Batgirl and Donatello are released. Batgirl will include the same batarang and ascension gun as both Robin and Batman. There is also what looks to be a mobile phone and a torch (??) as well as alternative hands. Donatello has an alternative head, his staff, turtle flip phone, ooze canister, alternative hands and again we have two pizza slices included.
In November 2019 the turtle line up is complete with the arrival of Michelangelo, accompanied by Alfred. Alfred has limited accessories with a few hand options and a Superman mug. Mikey has a skateboard, two nunchucks, and alternative hands. And yes, there is more pizza.
The series is rounded out in December with the two main protagonists - Shredder and Ra's A Ghul. This set is quite sparse vs the others with Ghul's sword and a ooze canister the only inclusions.
The US RRP on these is $49.99 and we await details of any UK release. Be mindful that like the previous NECA licensing arrangements these may be restricted initially at least to the US market only.
