Hasbro had promised us that the 40th Anniversary Darth Vader would be released in standard packaging, and here is proof that this is happening.
The new Darth Vader sculpt will be added to the phase 3 red/black packaging and all indicators are that Lord Vader will be part of the Force Friday releases on 1st September. He will come packed with his light saber. Unlike the previous release, the helmet is not removable.
That means we've had five figures confirmed so far - but beware spoilers if you want to see the other four here
