Custom: Star Wars Black Series The Mandalorian with updated head from Fantastic Four Marvel Legends release

Star Wars Black Series collectors, and particularly those who collect figures from The Mandalorian, will know that to date the unmasked variants of Pedro Pascal's titular character have been less than impressive.


Over at Marvel Legends, they do not appear to have had the same issue in recreating Pascal's Mister Fantastic in the newly released Fantastic Four: First Steps wave.


We had to see if that Marvel Legends head would fit onto, and look right, on our Mandalorian figures.... and I am pleased to report that it certainly looks the part and improves either the original or the newer Mandalorian body as an unmasked option. Fit-wise, the Marvel Legends head has a larger socket, so the fit onto the Mandalorian neck peg is loose on both figures, most noticeably on the newer body. This would need to be addressed through packing the hole or by changing the neck pegs.
