Bandai have released the promotional images for their new 1/12 Star Wars Figure Kit of R2-D2. This is an improved kit from their previous R2 release and it comes with a wide range of bells and whistles, including R2's rocket boosters from the prequals.
The various accessories can be fitted in place or displayed to the side of R2 on a specially designed display base.
The kit should be out in September and will cost 2,200 Yen (£15). With the relaxing of being able to sell these outside of Japan via US distributor Bluefin we would hope this is available in the UK, US and beyond for around the £20-£25 mark.
