As we saw at Toy Fair 2018, Bandai are now a licence holder for the Pacific Rim licence. They are releasing Jaegers under their Robot Spirits brand at between 5 and 6" in height and to fight the Jaegers will be the Kaiju. These will be released under the SOFVI Spirits line (Soft Vinyl) and we saw the first of these at toy fair - the impressive Raijin
Joining Raijin is another Kaiju, the enormous Shrikethorn who will tower over your Jaegers at an impressive 9" in length. As a Soft Vinyl figure the articulation is limited to just four point on the arms, the rest of the body and tail are fixed. This does keep the price down to just 5400 yen in Japan (£36 / $50).
Shrikethorn will be released in August 2018 in Japan. Outside of Japan, this will be a Bandai Webstore Premium Exclusive.
