Bandai enter the Rogue One product release schedule with their 1/12 Death Trooper figure kit

Force Friday 2016 will certainly be a worldwide affair with product from numerous retailers being made available to fans. Putting the Hasbro and Disney Store news to one side, the next big news for 6" figure collectors will be this 1/12 Death Trooper figure kit from Bandai.

Bandai have won lots of fans over the past 18 months with their Star Wars 1/12 kits. Although restricted by being unable to distribute outside of Japan makes getting hold of these difficult, there is no doubt that these highly flexible kits are a big hit with collectors and model builders.

The Death Trooper won;t be immediately available come Force Friday, and will instead hit Japanese stores in November. Watch out for import options after this time. The Trooper will come packed with the usual display base, blaster pistol E-11D rifle, DLT-19D and the usual plethora of hand options. There will also be two chest options included in the kit allowing the builder to construct a standard Trooper or the Specialist (I am sure all will become clear when the film hits cinema's)

The RRP is 2916 Yen, this works out to £21 or $28. If you are willing to wait past the initial release date when import prices are at a premium, then you should eventually be able to pick one of these up without a massive mark up on the RRP.
