Alastor Moody. Ex-Auror, Ministry malcontent, and your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher

As previously reported, Mrs Meph is building up a collection of NECA Harry Potter 7" figures. This has seen my inner toy hunter kick in and go chasing down these figures across the interwebs and beyond

Our latest addition is the Mad Eye Moody & Draco Malfoy 2-pack which I secured on eBay

Pictures of both figures have now been added to our NECA Harry Potter gallery, CLICK THROUGH to browse the pictures

As with most of the NECA HP figures, these are more static figures than having any form of decent articulation - but that is more than made up for in the sculpt and detail. Mad Eye is the better of the two, purely down to the detail from his magic eye to his metal leg and staff. My only gripe would be his hair is painted a shade too bright.

Draco's sculpt is pretty good all in all, but he is still just a boy in a school uniform - so lacks any major detail. The colours of his tie also seem a tad too bright vs the Slytherin colours in the film

All in all a strong 2-pack and a must for the collection. I think that leaves us the real grails now to go - the Deluxe Hagrid, Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix and the Ginny Weasley

For anyone who fancies back tracking this great, but short lived, series then checkout THIS LINK on Amazon for some of the easier to obtain sets
